Taking inspiration from gardens and landscapes around the world, International Garden Concepts is your professional landscaper. I design and build decks, courtyards, barbeque and poolside areas in Melbourne.

Before arriving in Australia I travelled the world extensively, studying gardens of the different nations that I visited. This inspired me to develop a landscape business aimed at achieving any international style of garden using the most suitable plants for Australian dry conditions.

LANDSCAPING FOR COURTYARDS

Timber decking can solve many landscape problems, from sloping ground to covering old concrete or boulders. The one that I most prefer is that it can be constructed at the same level as your internal floor, giving a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living.

BARBEQUE AND POOLSIDE AREAS

Timber decking is a practical and aesthetically pleasing way to improve on your barbeque area outdoor investment. This is due to its high structural integrity, combined with its 'softer, natural' feel. A multitude of different timbers are available including some almost maintenance-free 'engineered materials'.

For poolsides, as with all landscaping, what you don't see is just as important, if not more, than what you do see.

The posts, joist and bearers need to be engineered well so that your outdoor investment will last the test of time. For that lush wood grain, I recommend finishing with quality timber oil.
